Restarted, reseated the batteries & made sure they're new (1.5v+). I unpaired it from the Unifying Software just to check but it's the same. I tried using new batteries but no help, tried every way to pair it again without any success, the same blinking pattern keeps going on and I can't pair it. Now I tried to return to the mouse, placed the batteries and it didn't work, tried to use the Unifying Software to make it connect but nothing, I also noticed the top LED is mostly green, but will quickly turn off and back on every second. Due to double-clicking issues, I stopped using it for just about 2 months, I used a Microsoft Wireless mouse now in place of it but still kept the Logitech Keyboard (with the unified receiver). So I was using the M705 for a while, (part of the MK710 combo).
